Shocking Shoulder Kiss: Woman Targeted at Dorset Traffic Lights
Police are hunting a man who brazenly kissed a woman on the shoulder while she sat in her convertible at a busy Dorset junction.
Unwanted Advance at Alma Road Junction
It happened around 2pm on Monday, 31 May 2021. The victim, a woman in her 20s, was waiting at the traffic lights on Alma Road near Charminster Road with the roof down. A man crossed the road, leaned over, and kissed her shoulder before strolling off.
Suspicious Man Seen Pushing Wheelchair
Witnesses spotted the man pushing another man in a wheelchair nearby both before and after the incident. Following inquiries, police arrested a 31-year-old from Poole on suspicion of sexual assault. He has since been released on bail while the investigation continues.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this matter and I understand there were a number of people in the vicinity when it happened,” said Investigations Officer Dean Smith from Bournemouth Police.
Police urge anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam footage to get in touch immediately.
