Man Charged with Murder After New Year’s Day Tragedy in Milton Keynes
18-Year-Old Jay Fathers Dies After Late-Night Attack
Police have charged 21-year-old Callum Aylett from Stantonbury, Milton Keynes, with murder following a brutal incident that claimed the life of 18-year-old Jay Fathers. The shocking attack took place just before 3am on New Year’s Day in Walshs Manor.
Attempted Murder Charge Also Filed
Aylett faces one count of murder and one count of attempted murder, after a 49-year-old man was seriously injured during the same violent altercation. The injured man remains in hospital in stable condition.
Suspect to Appear in Court
Aylett is set to appear before Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on Monday 4th January. The investigation into the incident continues as the community reels from the tragedy.
