Tragic Crash: Two Dead, Including Pregnant Woman, in Shocking Hit-and-Run
Noga Sella, 37, and Yoram Hirshfeld, 81, were killed after being hit by an Alfa Romeo on Leopold Street around 9.35pm on Wednesday, 10 August 2022.
Mrs Sella was five weeks pregnant when she died. Her husband, Omer, and two children were also injured in the horror smash.
Family Members Charged Over Cover-Up
As police probe the crash, Barjunsing Bissendary, 58, and Sadhana Bissendary, 55—both from Manston—face charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice. They allegedly tried to hide evidence linked to the collision.
The pair have been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 4 November 2022.
Manston Man Previously Charged With Deadly Driving Offences
Nitesh Bissendary, 30, also from Manston, faces multiple serious charges. These include two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, failing to provide a sample, failing to stop after the crash, and driving while unfit through drugs.
