Driver Busted in Early Morning Drug and Insurance Sting
Caught Red-Handed in Northfleet
The driver was nabbed in the early hours of Wednesday, January 25, on Colney Road, Northfleet, after police received a call. The man was quickly taken into custody.
Charged with Drugs and No Insurance
Paul McCullough, 41, from colchester/" title="Colchester" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Colchester Road in Edgware, faces two counts of drug possession and driving without insurance. Police say they are still probing further possible driving offences. He remains under arrest.
Cannabis Smell Led to Drug Haul
Officers found McCullough didn’t own the car and was uninsured at the time. After smelling cannabis wafting from the vehicle, they searched it. Their efforts uncovered bags of cannabis and a large stash of cash.
The driver was immediately arrested, with investigations ongoing.
