Paedophile Couple Jailed for Over 21 Years After Baby Abuse Shocker
Horrific Abuse Exposed in Police Raid
Mark Gable and his girlfriend Jessica Fry have been locked up for a combined total of more than 21 years after admitting to sexually abusing young children – including a BABY. The sickening case came to light in May when police found a video of Gable assaulting a baby during a search of his home in colchester/" title="Colchester" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Colchester.
Further disturbing images and videos were uncovered, revealing Gable’s horrific crimes. Investigators discovered Fry had filmed many of these vile acts. Disturbingly, a video also showed Fry abusing a child herself. The offences reportedly took place between 2017 and 2019.
Guilty Pleas and Heavy Sentences at Chelmsford Crown Court
The twisted pair pleaded guilty at Chelmsford Crown Court on 2 September. Gable, 33, admitted multiple counts including assault by penetration and making indecent images of children. Fry, 27, also pleaded guilty to similar charges, including distribution of indecent images.
On Friday 13 December, Gable was sentenced to 11-and-a-half years behind bars plus eight years on licence. Fry was handed a 10-year prison term. Gable is labelled a dangerous offender and must serve two-thirds of his sentence before possible release. Both are now on the sex offenders register for life.

“Mark Gable and Jessica Fry are dangerous and methodical paedophiles,” said Detective Constable Jeanine Atkins-Calver of the North Child Abuse Investigation Team. “They worked together to abuse very young children and recorded their vile acts for their own gratification.”
“Their crimes are absolutely horrific, especially given the tender ages of the victims. They are a serious danger to the public and I’m pleased they face a long time behind bars.”
Detective Inspector Lisa Norcott added: “Thanks to the strength of the families involved and the relentless police work by DC Rob Armstrong, DC Atkins-Calver, and DC Carley Parodi, the pair had no choice but to plead guilty.”
