PD Louis is back on the beat after a nasty injury while chasing crooks earlier this month. On 2 March, the police dog and his handler, PC Dan Fox, were in hot pursuit of offenders who fled from a car that refused to stop.
Wounded But Unstoppable
The suspects, armed and desperate, sprinted from the scene. During the intense chase, PD Louis leapt over a security fence and suffered serious stomach wounds. He needed emergency veterinary care and two operations to fix the damage.
