Fugitive on the Run after Daring Court Escape in Hove
Sussex Police are hunting Jack Tyler, 28, who pulled off a bold escape from Hove Crown Court on September 8. Tyler was due in court facing burglary and affray charges but fled custody mid-hearing, triggering a major manhunt.
Manhunt Launched as Tyler Vanishes
Tyler, arrested in August and held on remand, slipped away during his court appearance. Police instantly launched heavyweight searches around Hove but the suspect remains at large. Authorities have now sweetened the deal, offering a £1,000 reward for information leading to his capture and conviction.

Police Plea: Help Bring Tyler to Justice
“We are doing everything possible to locate Jack Tyler and are asking the public to help us bring him back into custody. He is facing serious charges and must answer to the court,” said a Sussex Police spokesperson.
The public is warned not to approach Tyler but to report sightings immediately.
