Teen Stabbed in Purley Street Attack
Police Called to Brighton Road Horror
A 16-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after being stabbed on Brighton Road, Purley, on Monday afternoon. Officers and paramedics arrived at 4.46pm following reports of the attack.
Another Teen Hurt in Incident
Alongside the stabbed boy, another 16-year-old was found with a minor head injury. Both teenagers received medical attention at the scene.
No Arrests Yet, Crime Scene Maintained
The stabbed teen’s condition remains unclear as police continue their investigation. So far, no suspects have been arrested. Officers have set up a crime scene to gather evidence.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Brighton Road, Purley, on Monday September 12 at 4.46pm to reports of a stabbing. Officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service. A 16-year-old boy was found with stab wounds. Another 16-year-old boy was found with a minor head injury. The boy with stab wounds has been taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition. There have been no arrests. A crime scene has been put in place.”
