Fake Cop Nabbed: Charged with Six Robberies and More

A man pretending to be a police officer has been caught and charged after a string of crimes.

Impostor Busted

Eamon Hannigan, 46, with no fixed address, was arrested on Sunday, 15 April. He faces six counts of robbery, six counts of impersonating a police officer, and three counts of fraud.

Court Appearances and Next Steps

Hannigan appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 17 April. He has been remanded in custody ahead of his next hearing at Wood Green Crown Court on Tuesday, 15 May.

The police continue their investigation into Hannigan’s criminal activities.
