Two Charged Over Shocking Elephant and Castle Underground Stabbing

British Transport Police have charged two men in the brutal stabbing murder of 24-year-old Norman Bertran-Tavarez at Elephant and Castle Underground Station.

Murder Charges for Brothers from Barking

Jose Perez Fana, 30, and Kelvin Plata Fana, 22, both from Cowbridge Lane, Barking, face murder charges after Norman tragically died from stab wounds on September 1st.

Also Charged with Assault on Another Man

The brothers are also charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent following the serious stabbing of a 25-year-old man during the same incident.

Extradited From Antwerp

Both suspects were extradited from Antwerp back to the UK to face the charges, police confirmed.

Justice will be served for Norman and the victim seriously injured in this attack,” a British Transport Police spokesperson said.
