Rockets Fired at Police and Teen in Brutal Carlisle Terrace Attack
Officers were viciously attacked last Saturday night while talking to a group of teens on Carlisle Terrace. Around 10 males launched rockets at the police, causing serious injuries to both an officer and a 14-year-old boy.
Burns and Possible Ear Drum Damage
The fiery rockets burned the pair on their arms and torsos. Both are now believed to have perforated ear drums from the blast. This shocking assault has left the community reeling.
Five Arrested, Enquiries Ongoing
Police have already arrested four males aged between 14 and 19, plus a 34-year-old woman in connection with the attack. Investigations continue as officers hunt for those responsible.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
“The public’s response so far has been incredible, and we know they’re just as appalled as we are by what’s happened,” said a police spokesperson.
