Ibrahim Anderson Faces Serious Terrorism Charges
Ibrahim Anderson, 43, from Luton, Bedfordshire, has been charged with ten counts of spreading terrorist publications. The charges come under section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006. He also faces accusations of breaching Part 4 Notification rules by failing to provide an email identifier, violating section 54(1)(b) of the Terrorism Act 2008.
Quick Court Appearance Scheduled
Anderson is due to appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 23 October.
Met Police Tackle Terror Threat
The arrest came on 21 October, carried out by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command with support from the Eastern Region Specialist Operations Unit. Detectives swooped to detain Anderson on suspicion of disseminating terrorist material and breaching notification orders, before formally charging him as detailed above.
