Woman Stabbed to Death in Shocking Highgate Attack

Horror Unfolds in King’s Lynn at Midnight

Emergency crews were called to a Highgate home in King’s Lynn shortly after midnight on Saturday (16 April). There, a woman in her 50s was found with serious stab wounds to her abdomen. She was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital but tragically died from her injuries.

Victim Identified and Suspect Charged

The victim has been provisionally named as 50-year-old Dace Kalkerte from King’s Lynn. A Home Office post mortem confirmed she died due to stab wounds. Police have arrested three suspects: two men aged in their 40s and 50s, and a woman in her 50s.

Birute Klicneliene, 50, from Sir Lewis Street, King’s Lynn, was charged with murder and is set to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (19 April). The two men have been released under investigation as inquiries continue.

Police Continue Investigation

Officers believe the victim and suspects were known to each other. A police cordon remains in place at the property and is expected to stay for several days.
