Massive Party Busted in Marlow Hill
Police swooped on a property in Wycombe’s Marlow Hill on Saturday, finding around 200 revellers partying hard. The ticketed event featured music blasting from several rooms, clearly in breach of coronavirus rules.

Given the huge crowd, officers decided the safest move was to break up the party immediately. Most attendees were from outside the area, sparking further concerns about the risk of spreading Covid-19.
£10,000 Fine and Property Shut Down
Police later tracked down the organiser and hit them with a hefty £10,000 fine for hosting a gathering over 30 people in a private home. Thames Valley Police joined forces with Buckinghamshire Council to secure a court order closing the property for three months. No one can enter or use the venue during this time.
Police Warn Others: Break Rules and Pay the Price
Supt Emma Baillie, Covid Silver Commander, slammed the event as a “blatant and flagrant breach” of coronavirus laws. She said: “With cases rising nationally and locally, it’s shocking some still flout rules designed to save lives and protect the NHS.”
“We’ve always aimed to engage and explain restrictions, but where people deliberately ignore them, we won’t hesitate to enforce the law – through dispersal, fines or arrests.”
“We’re working closely with Buckinghamshire Council’s Environmental Health teams and Covid marshals to keep communities safe and support the NHS throughout the pandemic.”
