Police Hunt Thugs After Brutal Kingswood Assault
Two Men Caught on CCTV
Police are on the lookout for two young white men aged between 18 and 22, standing around 5ft 8-9ins tall. Both have short, light brown hair with shaved back and sides.
One is a large man wearing a light grey hoodie and green knee-length cargo shorts. The other sports a full grey tracksuit, a black gilet, and black shoes.
Violent Attack Leaves Man Hospitalised
The pair are wanted over a vicious assault on a 28-year-old man in Kingswood, just after midnight on February 4.
The victim and his girlfriend were walking back to their car on Bank Road when the two men approached and asked for a lift. After the victim refused, the offenders launched a brutal attack.
He was punched repeatedly and knocked to the ground, suffering serious head injuries and a concussion. Thankfully, he has now been discharged from hospital.
Police Urge Public to Help
“This is a violent and unprovoked attack that has resulted in significant injuries,” said PC Gemma Childs.
“We believe the people in the CCTV images will be able to help the investigation and encourage members of the public who recognise them to come forward.”
