Gang Forces Man to Buy Drugs at Knifepoint in Hove
A gang of hooded men confronted a man at 7.50am on Saturday, October 24, asking if he wanted to buy drugs. When he refused, they forced him to withdraw cash and buy goods from a local shop under threat of violence.
Victim Also Sexually Assaulted in Shocking Attack
After the robbery, the victim was allegedly sexually assaulted by touching on Old Shoreham Road, Hove. Police swiftly moved in and detained several suspects at Hove railway station, arresting four more nearby.
Four Arrested – Three Charged, One Bailed
- Louis Mason-Powell, 22, Lewisham – Charged with assault causing actual bodily harm and two counts of theft.
- Tobi Adediwura, 19, no fixed address – Charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.
- Rasean Robinson, 19, Bromley – Charged with robbery, sexual assault, and possession of a Class B drug.
- A fourth 19-year-old man was arrested and later released on strict bail conditions.
All three charged men remain in custody and face Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 26.
