Met Police Officer Forced to Leap Out the Way as Car Rams Towards Them
Drama on Feltham’s High Street as a speeding car was deliberately driven at a police officer directing traffic. The officer had to take quick evasive action to dodge what could have been a serious injury.
Speeding Chaos on the Wrong Side of the Road
The terrifying incident happened just after midnight on Saturday, 3 December. Officers were managing a traffic incident when two cars hurtled towards them at high speed — on the wrong side of the road. One officer jumped out of the path to avoid being hit.
Crash and Dash in Ashford Road
- Both reckless vehicles were found shortly after on Ashford Road, Feltham.
- One slammed into a lamppost and bus stop, the other hit an object.
- The occupants bailed and fled the scene.
No Injuries Yet No Arrests, Investigation Underway
Luckily, no officers or members of the public were hurt in the chaos. So far, police have made no arrests but say enquiries are ongoing.
