Man Arrested Over £600 Battle Business Burglary

A 34-year-old man from Battle has been arrested following a break-in at a local business that saw £600 worth of goods stolen.

Burglary Hits Battle High Street Shop

Just before 9pm on Sunday, 5 February, thieves targeted a business in Old Ladies Court, near Battle High Street. They made off with vapes, Prime drinks, and Mary’s Elf Bar E-cigarettes.

Police Act Fast to Nab Suspect

After receiving a report on Tuesday, 7 February, officers launched an immediate investigation. Their swift work and support from the victims led to the arrest of a local man on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal. He remains in police custody.
