Till Snatched in River Pharmacy Raid
A brazen robbery unfolded on 15 May 2019 when a till stuffed with cash was stolen from a pharmacy in Chilton Way, River, near Dover. The audacious thief didn’t stop there — threats were made against a staff member during the heist.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
Kent Police acted fast and arrested James Roberts, 31, who has no fixed address. He was charged with robbery on Tuesday 28 May 2019.
Robbery Suspect Remanded in Custody
Roberts appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court the next day, where he was remanded in custody. He is due back in court at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 1 July.
