Michael Gilhaney Jailed for Brutal Burglary Spree Armed with Machete
Michael Gilhaney from Thorn End, Northampton, has been slammed with a heavy prison sentence at Aylesbury Crown Court earlier this month.

Gilhaney was found guilty of two burglaries in Hillingdon during 2023. One offence involved him wielding a machete, making it an aggravated burglary. He was also convicted of a separate burglary later that year in Hounslow.
“This sentence reflects the serious threat Gilhaney posed, carrying a lethal weapon during his crime spree,” the court stated.
