Rapper Digdat Jailed for Life After Notting Hill Drive-By Shooting

Digdat Sentenced for Brutal November Shooting

Nathan Tokosi, aka rapper Digdat, has been locked up for life after a savage drive-by shooting in Notting Hill. The 25-year-old faces at least 24 years behind bars following his conviction for attempted murder and multiple firearm offences.

At the Old Bailey on 27 January, a jury found Tokosi guilty of trying to murder a 27-year-old victim in a terrifying attack last November. He was also convicted of two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, plus two counts related to ammunition possession.

Crucial Evidence Ties Digdat to the Crime

Police found Tokosi’s DNA inside a stolen, abandoned car linked to the shooting. Nearby, officers also uncovered a black bag containing a handgun and bullets – damning proof of his involvement.

Police Hit Back Against London Gun Crime

“Tokosi’s actions were premeditated, reckless and malicious. He lied at trial, denying any involvement,” said Detective Inspector Chris Shepherd from the Central South Borough Command Unit.

“Our dogged investigation reflects a zero-tolerance approach to gang violence on London’s streets. Full credit to our team and the frontline officers and medics who helped the victim.”
