Police Clamp Down on Troublemakers at Dane Road Address
Kent Police have had enough of ongoing chaos at a Dane Road property, with complaints flooding in since August 2021 about loud noise, drug use, and general disturbances.
Ban Imposed After Persistent Nuisance
Officers from the Thanet Community Safety Unit took decisive action. On Friday 10 December, they secured a court order at Margate Magistrates’ Court, banning anyone but the landlord or approved contractors from entering the address until 10 March 2022.
Breaking the Ban Means Big Trouble
Ignore the order and you’re risking arrest. Offenders face an unlimited fine and up to 51 weeks behind bars.
