Quick Police Action Nabs County Lines Dealer
Ehsan Saghir, from Beechwood Road, Luton, pleaded guilty at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday (6/10) to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs — crack cocaine and heroin.
He was sentenced to two years and eight months behind bars for the offences.
Drugs and Cash Seized During Stop
The conviction stems from a police stop in Court Close, Aylesbury, on June 25. Officers found Class A drugs worth a staggering £2,710 and £758 in cash on Saghir.
Stronghold Team Cracks Down on County Lines
“Saghir was involved in County Lines activity and I am pleased that this proactive arrest has led to him being sentenced for his role in this,” said PC Ben McNeill of the Aylesbury Stronghold Team.
“Anyone involved in County Lines and organised crime in Aylesbury Vale will be targeted and pursued until the drug lines are dismantled.”
“Our Stronghold campaign continues to work with partners to tackle serious organised crime and protect vulnerable members of our community.”
Police vow to keep up the pressure on drug dealers to clean up Aylesbury’s streets.
