Man Held Over Grim Double Killing
A second man has been charged in connection with a chilling double murder that rocked Hertfordshire and Barnet. The investigation ignited after a body found in Hertfordshire was linked to a deadly attack in Barnet.
Details of the Arrests
Besnik Berisha, 42, from Martock Gardens, Friern Barnet, was nabbed on Monday, 23 December. By Wednesday, 25 December, he faced charges for the murder of a 30-year-old man found near Barnet Bypass by Scratchwood Park on 19 December, and the killing of a 35-year-old discovered in Hogg Lane, Elstree on 20 December.
Berisha is set to appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court today, 26 December.
Co-Accused Also in Custody
Earlier, Kaziku Tuwisana, 31, with no fixed address, was arrested in Barnet on the same day the first body was discovered. He was charged with two counts of murder on 23 December and appeared at Brent Magistrates’ Court the same day. His next court appearance is awaited.
