London on edge as five men and two teens stabbed in just four days
A brutal wave of stabbings has rocked London, with two teenage boys and five men attacked in separate violent incidents from Friday, March 7 to Tuesday, March 11. The attacks spread across Colindale, Carshalton, Enfield, Dagenham, Fulham, and Limehouse, sparking multiple police probes and arrests.
Colindale: 14-Year-Old Boy Slashed in Head
On Friday, March 7, a 14-year-old boy was stabbed in the head on Guardian Avenue, Colindale, at 5.13pm. He was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A 14-year-old girl also suffered minor injuries in the same attack.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Police have yet to update on his current status.
Carshalton and Enfield Stabbings Spark Arrests
- Carshalton: On Saturday, March 8, at 3.51pm, a man suffered minor stab wounds during an altercation with a woman on Tweeddale Road. A 32-year-old woman was arrested for aggravated burglary and is in custody.
- Enfield: Sunday, March 9 saw a man in his 30s stabbed on Lawson Road near Moorfield Road. His injuries are not life-threatening. Police arrested a 20-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.
Dagenham and Fulham: Teens and Men Targeted
- Dagenham: A 16-year-old boy was found stabbed on Longbridge Road on Tuesday morning. His condition is stable. Four boys were arrested for wounding with intent and weapon possession; three have been charged and remanded.
- Fulham: Later that day at 1pm, a man was stabbed on North End Road. He remains stable. A 31-year-old male suspect was arrested for grievous bodily harm with intent and carrying an offensive weapon.
Limehouse: Double Stabbing in Late-Night Attack
On Tuesday at 10.15pm, two men in their 20s were stabbed on Thomas Road near Wallwood Street, Limehouse. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A 22-year-old man is in custody, suspected of grievous bodily harm.
