Man Charged Over Brutal Murder of 19-Year-Old in Ilford
Arrest Made in Mohammed Mirza Murder Case
Detectives have charged Shariq Khan, 20, with the murder of Mohammed Mirza, 19, who was fatally attacked on Tuesday, 19 November at Fullwell Avenue, Ilford.
Knife Possession Charge Added
Khan was arrested on Thursday, 28 November and charged the very next day with both murder and possession of a knife.
Legal Proceedings Underway
The accused remains remanded in custody and is set to appear at Barkingside Magistrates Court on Friday, 29 November.
Two Others Released Under Investigation
Meanwhile, two other 19-year-olds arrested in connection with the murder on 28 November have been released under investigation as police continue their inquiries.
