Monster Nathan Walker Found Guilty of Child Sex Crimes in Sheffield

Nathan Walker, 35, from Firth Park’s Sicey Avenue, has been found guilty of two counts of sexual activity with a child following a trial at Sheffield Crown Court last week.

Victim Only 14 at Time of Abuse

The sickening abuse took place when the victim was just 14 years old. The young girl told of feeling “disgusted” and terrified, too scared to speak out. PC Elisabeth Slack called Walker’s actions “sinister and manipulative,” pointing out how he preyed on a vulnerable teenager.

“No child should ever be forced to endure this kind of abuse,” said PC Slack. “The victim showed incredible bravery coming forward.”

Jury’s Verdict and Next Steps

  • Guilty on two counts of sexual activity with a child
  • Not guilty on one count

Walker has been remanded in custody and will return to Sheffield Crown Court on 1 December for sentencing.

Authorities Stand Firm on Victim Anonymity

PC Slack hopes Walker’s punishment will reflect the seriousness of his crimes. The police reminded the public that victims of sexual offences have lifelong anonymity. Anyone attempting to identify them faces legal consequences.
