The Metropolitan Police rushed to Homerton railway station just before 6pm on Friday after a brutal stabbing during an attempted robbery. The victim was stabbed in the shoulder and quickly taken to a major trauma centre. His condition remains unknown.

Stabbing Sparks Police Hunt

Officers were called at 5.50pm on 18 November following reports of an attempted robbery near the station. Despite a swift response, no arrests have been made, leaving the attacker on the loose.

Victim Left Injured, Police Appeal for Witnesses

A police statement confirmed: “There was no arrest. A police investigation is currently underway. Anyone with information is urged to call 101 and quote reference number 5647/18nov.”

Ambulance Crews Race to Scene

An Ambulance Service spokesperson said, “We were called at 5.58pm to reports of a stabbing near Homerton Rail Station in Hackney. We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer. The man was treated at the scene before being rushed to a major trauma centre.”
