Gunshots Trigger Frenzied Emergency Response
Paramedics, ambulance crews, and a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance raced to the scene. An air ambulance helicopter was also deployed, underscoring the seriousness of the shooting.
Two Injured: One Shot, One Head Trauma
Police confirmed one victim suffered a gunshot wound while another sustained a head injury. Both were treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital. Their conditions remain under close supervision.

“We were called at 2.10am on 4 January following reports of a shooting on Broadway, Bexleyheath,” a London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said. “We sent ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response vehicles, and an incident response officer. A trauma team was also dispatched from London’s Air Ambulance. Two patients were treated and taken to hospital.”
The Metropolitan Police are probing the incident, with inquiries ongoing as the investigation gathers pace.
