Six Arrested Over Brutal Worthing Stabbing
Six people have been nabbed after a man was found stabbed in Worthing on Monday night. Emergency crews rushed to Wallace Avenue at around 9.20pm on March 27, discovering the victim seriously injured and fighting for his life in hospital.
Who’s Been Caught?
- Four men, one woman, and a teenage boy were arrested following a major police probe.
- A 21-year-old Worthing man faces drug supply charges linked to the attempted murder and is out on strict bail.
- A 44-year-old man and 18-year-old woman are also bailed, both suspected of attempted murder and Class A drug involvement.
- The 14-year-old boy was released on bail.
- A 49-year-old man remains in custody on suspicion of attempted murder.
- Another 57-year-old man has been locked up on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Police Investigate, Ask Witnesses to Speak Up
Detective Chief Inspector Kimball Edey from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team said the probe has made big strides and thanked the public for their help so far. He urged anyone who saw odd activity near Mill Road, Victoria Park, and Lansdowne Road between 9pm and 9.45pm on March 27 to come forward.
