New Arrest in Murder of Teen Jason Isaacs
Detectives have made a fresh arrest in the shocking murder of 18-year-old Jason Isaacs in Northolt. Early this morning (Friday, 27 April), police detained a 16-year-old boy in Harrow on suspicion of the murder.
The teenager remains in custody at a south London police station as the investigation intensifies.
Investigation Still Unfolding
Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh from the Homicide and Major Crime Command said: “The investigation into Jason’s murder remains ongoing and this latest arrest shows we are making progress to identify all those responsible for the attack.”
One man, 17, is set to stand trial this Monday (30 April) over Jason’s killing. DCI McHugh added: “There were others involved that night. My message is clear — you will be arrested and brought before the courts to face the consequences.”
Brutal Attack on Jason Isaacs
Jason was murdered after a premeditated attack at around 10:30pm on Saturday, 18 November 2017 in Newnham Close, Northolt. He had been out with friends before the violence erupted.
Two mopeds carrying pillion passengers were involved in the assault. Notably, the passengers weren’t wearing helmets, making them more visible.

So far, four people have been arrested in connection with the case:
- A 17-year-old charged with Jason’s murder and due in court at the Old Bailey on 30 April.
- Three others aged 16, 17, and 18 were released without further action.
