Man Charged After Brutal Knife Attack on Romney Marsh
Knife Violence Rocks Brenzett Green
Tensions boiled over on the morning of Monday, 17 November 2025, at Brenzett Green, Romney Marsh. A spat between a group of local men quickly escalated into a vicious stabbing.
Police and paramedics arrived promptly. Two men were hospitalised — one suffered stab wounds and was later discharged, while the other remains stable in hospital.
Five Arrested, One Facing Serious Charges

On Wednesday, 19 November, 18-year-old Arry Burgess from Paddock View, Brenzett, was charged with malicious wounding with intent, possession of a knife in public, and a public order offence.
Burgess was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court later that day.
Investigation Continues
Of the other suspects, one remains in custody. Three others have been released on bail with strict conditions as the probe continues.
