Eltham Man Busted in Cocaine Crackdown
Eltham, Greater London: Police nabbed 27-year-old Oluwamayomikun Ishola in a sting operation targeting cocaine supply in Medway. The arrest, carried out by plain-clothed officers, took place in Gillingham on January 4.
Undercover Officers Strike in Gillingham
Officers had Ishola under close watch for suspected drug deals. They spotted him hop into a car on Mill Road and immediately swooped in. During the arrest, cops seized £145 in cash.
More Drugs Found in London Address
A follow-up search at Ishola’s Westhorne Avenue home in Eltham uncovered crack cocaine deals and a mobile phone linked to drug supply activities.
Serious Charges and Court Date Set
Ishola faces charges for supplying crack cocaine and heroin between November 29, 2023, and January 4, 2024. He remains in custody and is due in Medway Magistrates’ Court on January 5.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “A suspected county line dealer has been charged following his arrest by plain-clothes officers in Gillingham. Investigators targeting cocaine supply in Medway spotted the suspect get into a car on Mill Road.”
“They stopped the vehicle, detained the occupant, and seized £145 in cash. Later, a quantity of crack cocaine deals and a mobile phone were recovered from an address.”
“Oluwamayomikun Ishola, of Westhorne Avenue, Eltham, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin during those dates. He is remanded in custody ahead of his court appearance.”
