A shocking assault on an 89-year-old man in Chatham has led to the arrest of a woman suspected of robbery. The pensioner was targeted in the town centre at around 4:30 pm on Friday, April 12, 2024, when his phone was stolen.

Jardine appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 15, and was remanded in custody. She is due to face Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, May 13.
