‘Proactive Policing’ Nails Drug Dealer

Detective Sergeant Joe Shanklin, part of the newly formed Operation Fortitude team, said: “This is a fantastic example of proactive policing, with officers on routine patrols noticing something which seemed out of place and investigating further.”

He added, “Although they initially suspected a burglary, they quickly identified the occupant as a drug dealer with a large quantity of Class A drugs destined for Wiltshire streets. Operation Fortitude is committed to disrupting Class A drug supply and bringing offenders to justice.”
