A 17-year-old lad has been nabbed in Brixton for carrying a knife and cannabis.
Teen Arrested After Knife Report on Bus
On Monday, 26 July, a member of the public tipped off police about a young bloke boarding a Brixton bus with a knife. Armed officers rushed to the scene and arrested the 17-year-old.
Charges: Possession of Offensive Weapon & Cannabis
The teen, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged the very next day, Tuesday 27 July, with possession of an offensive weapon and class B drug possession.
Bailed Until September Court Date
He faced Bexley Magistrates’ Court on the 27th and was bailed to return on 24 September.
