Half the ground floor of a semi-detached house was ravaged by fire early this morning. Firefighters in breathing gear heroically rescued a woman from the blaze, rushing her to hospital.

The Brigade was called at 6:01am. Crews swiftly brought the flames under control by 7:09am. Fire teams from Ealing, Acton, and Chiswick stations tackled the inferno.
