The elderly victim was targeted on 29 June while travelling on the number 233 bus along Marechal Niel Parade, Sidcup. Her phone was snatched during the journey, prompting an appeal on 18 July.

More Charges Added

During the arrest, cops found a noxious spray – a banned weapon – and cannabis in the teen’s possession. This has landed him extra charges.

He’s currently on bail, due back in court early September. The investigation continues as police aim to protect vulnerable residents on public transport.
