Teenager Admits Stabbing in Portsmouth Knife Attack

Knife Assault Shakes Portsmouth Street

A 14-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to knifing a man in Portsmouth on Tuesday evening. The attack happened around 7.15pm on Dugald Drummond Street, near Greetham Street, where a man in his 20s was stabbed in the legs.

Victim’s Injuries Not Life-Threatening

Thankfully, the man’s knife wounds are not life-threatening. The teenager, from Havant, was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, attempted robbery, and carrying a knife in public.

Youth Court to Deliver Sentence in July

At Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday 11 June), the young offender pleaded guilty to all charges. He was remanded to secure accommodation ahead of his sentencing hearing on 2 July.
