Teen Charged Over Thame Murder

A 19-year-old man has been charged with murder and conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm in a shocking killing in Thame.

Benjamin Eyles, from Marlow Bottom, Buckinghamshire, was charged on the evening of September 29. The charges relate to the death of 19-year-old Josh Harling in Chinnor Road, Thame, on July 22. Eyles is also linked to an earlier incident in the town on July 18.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on September 30.

Other Suspects Under Investigation

  • K Nathan Braim, 20, from Thame, has already been charged with Josh Harling’s murder. He is set to stand trial at Oxford Crown Court on January 4, 2021.
  • A 16-year-old Oxfordshire boy, who was 15 at the time and arrested on suspicion of murder, remains on bail until October 22.
  • Another 19-year-old man from Oxfordshire, previously arrested on suspicion, has now been released with no further action.
