Tragic Death of Young Dad Alinjavwa Siwale Rocks Community
Alinjavwa Siwale, 22, was found injured on Affleck Road just after midnight on Friday, 11 December last year. Sadly, he died at the scene.
Family Heartbroken After Sudden Loss
In a heartfelt statement, Alinjavwa’s family said: “Our lives have been changed forever. We are heartbroken, still in shock and angry. Nothing can ever prepare you for the loss of a child. It is very, very painful and no mother should ever have to go through this.”
They described Alinjavwa as a man with a big heart who made friends easily, sometimes with the wrong crowd but always loyal. “He supported them, guided them and made them one.”
Remembering ‘Swizzino’ – The Life and Spirit Cut Short
Alinjavwa was known as ‘Swizzino’ in the rap music scene, a passion that lit up his life. He was also a keen footballer, playing for Great Notley Football Club.
“He loved his brothers and was an amazing father to his son. A free spirit who lived life on his own terms, he had big dreams, followers, and the ability to brighten any room with his smile and infectious laugh,” said his family.
Two Men Charged With Murder
Two men have been charged with Alinjavwa’s murder. Sheldon McKay, 25, and Phoenix Lee, 19, both of no fixed address, are set to stand trial in August in a case that has shaken the community.
“There are no words to describe the pain we are going through as a family. He is irreplaceable,” the family added.
