Isle of Wight Stabbing Shocker: Teen Slashed on Cowes Footpath
Police on the Isle of Wight are hunting witnesses after a 19-year-old was stabbed in a brutal assault in Cowes on Sunday night.
Serious Stab Wound on Busy Footpath
At around 9pm, the young man was attacked by two males on a footpath linking Newport Road to Frazer Close, near the Arctic Road and Cycleway junction. He suffered a serious stab wound to his leg but thankfully his injury is not life-threatening.
Officers Close to Scene Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
Officers remain in the area making enquiries. Police want anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious, or who might have captured dashcam footage while driving nearby, to come forward.
