Knife-Point Robbery Shakes Swindon – Police Hunt Two Electric Bike Thieves
Wiltshire Police are on the case after a terrifying knife-point robbery in broad daylight on Burbage Road, Swindon. The incident happened just after 1:15pm on September 15, when a man in his 20s was walking alone.
Two Thugs on E-Bikes Demand Cash at Knifepoint
The victim was suddenly ambushed from behind by two men riding electric bikes. One flashed a knife, threatening the man to hand over his money. Luckily, the victim escaped without injury. The robbers fled when a passerby, a woman wearing a pink top, appeared on the scene.
Three Arrested but Still on the Loose
Authorities have arrested three suspects aged 18, 21, and 23 on suspicion of robbery. They were released on bail as investigations continue to track down the culprits responsible.
PC McGuigan, leading the investigation, said: “We believe the suspects were disturbed by a woman walking in the area wearing a pink top. If you were that person, please get in touch – you could help crack this case.”
