Four Charged Over Brutal Greenwich Attack
Three men and a teenage boy have been hit with serious charges following a string of raids in Greenwich. The crackdown comes amid a fierce investigation into an attempted murder case.
Attempted Murder and Violent Assault Charges
- James Grant, 55, and Freddie Grant, 22, face charges of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm with intent.
- Patrick Carey, 22, alongside a 14-year-old boy, are charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
- The 14-year-old also faces charges of involvement in supplying Class B drugs.
Attack Dates Back to December 2019
The men were arrested on Wednesday, 8 April, after a series of targeted raids across Greenwich. The charges stem from the vicious attack on a 33-year-old man on 29 December 2019 in Throwley Close, SE2.
Police were called to the scene after the victim was found with multiple serious injuries. All four are due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 9 April.
