Three Men Nabbed in Canterbury Catalytic Converter Heist

Kent Police have arrested three men in a major crackdown on catalytic converter thefts in Canterbury.

Caught at the Service Station

The trio was detained at a local service station early on Tuesday, 26 November 2019. This came after a spate of thefts targeting parked cars on 21 November.

The Crime Spree Explained

  • Two thefts occurred on Court Avenue.
  • Another struck on New Dover Road.

The Suspects

Two men from Clapton, aged 37 and 28, and a 27-year-old from Hackney have been arrested. All three are currently on bail, with investigations ongoing until 20 December 2019.
