Gang Spray Elderly Man in Face to Snatch Watch in Shocking Cambridgeshire Robbery
Three crooks targeted a 75-year-old man and his wife in Long Causeway on 16 September. Omar Bkara, Nouralaine Manssouri, and a 17-year-old boy tailed the couple as they left a shop. Near Minister Precincts, one thug sprayed the victim’s face, stinging his eyes and blinding him. That distraction let them swipe his watch.
CCTV Tracks Crooks’ Every Move
The shocked victim alerted a nearby security guard. CCTV soon caught the trio ditching clothes as they headed to the Broadway taxi rank. They tried to escape by taxi, but police and CCTV followed the vehicle all the way to Spittals roundabout near Huntingdon. The gang was arrested and the stolen watch recovered inside the cab.
