Triple Stabbing Shocks Ilford: Three Men Killed in Seven Kings Horror
Victims Identified
Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command have named the three stabbing victims. They are 29-year-old Narinder Singh Lubhaya, 30-year-old Harinder Kumar, and 37-year-old Malkit Singh Dhillon, also known as Baljinder Singh in the UK. All three men were Indian nationals living in the Ilford area.
Night of Terror
Emergency services were called at 7.38pm on Sunday, 19 January, following a disturbance on Salisbury Road, Seven Kings. Police and ambulance crews found the three men with stab wounds. Tragically, all were pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect Arrested but Cleared of Murder
Two men were arrested in connection with the incident. Gurjeet Singh, 29, from South Park Crescent, Ilford, was charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place on Tuesday, 21 January. He appeared at Redbridge Magistrates’ Court the following day and was remanded in custody. Singh is due back at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 19 February. While still under investigation, police have since ruled him out of the murders.
Call for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Considine said: “I know that people were present when the attack occurred, I urge them to come forward. This is a dreadful incident that has shocked the local community. I need their help to piece together exactly what happened and the events that led up to it.”
Police do not believe the stabbing was gang-related and are not currently seeking further arrests for murder. Anyone with information is urged to contact the incident room on 020 8345 3865.
