Stolen Moped Found After Online Sale Attempt
A moped stolen from a storage unit on Connors Way was spotted being ridden around the local area, sparking a police investigation.
Undercover Police Nab Suspects
Officers went undercover after spotting the stolen bike advertised online. On Tuesday 12 December, plainclothes cops swooped on Dickens Avenue and seized the moped.
Three Arrested, Drugs Found
Two men, aged 38 and 18, along with a 15-year-old boy, were arrested at the scene. A nearby building search uncovered class B drugs and drug paraphernalia, which were also confiscated.
Suspects Released on Bail
All three have been released on conditional bail as police continue their enquiries into the theft and related offences.
