Three 15-Year-Olds Arrested Following Violent Robbery
Three 15-year-old boys have been arrested after a shocking robbery and stabbing in Redhouse, Swindon on Saturday evening, January 4, 2025.
Police were called just before 6pm when a 17-year-old lad was stabbed and had his e-bike stolen on Eastbury Way. Thankfully, the victim’s injuries are non-life-threatening.
Swift Police Action Leads to Arrests and Bike Recovery
Officers acted quickly, detaining the three teenagers nearby and recovering the stolen e-bike. All three have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and are currently out on bail while investigations carry on.
The crime scene at Eastbury Way and Addinsell Road has now been cleared.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Walker called the stabbing a “serious incident” and praised his team’s rapid response:
“This was a serious incident in which a teenager suffered knife wounds and had his bike stolen. Following swift enquiries, we detained and arrested three teenagers and recovered the bike.”
He added:
“The incident happened in a public area at the junction between Eastbury Way and Addinsell Road. Anyone who saw what happened or has information should get in touch.”
