Fatal Ambush in Abbey Wood
Hussain Bah, 18, and two boys aged 15 and 16 appeared today at the Old Bailey, charged with the brutal stabbings of Charlie Bartolo and Kearne Solanke. The shocking attack happened on November 26 at around 5pm in Sewell Road, Abbey Wood, south-east London.
According to prosecutors, Charlie was deliberately knocked off his motorbike by a Nissan 4×4 packed with five people. The vehicle’s occupants, armed with large knives, launched a savage assault. Charlie was stabbed at least six times. The fatal wound pierced his skull, killing him instantly.

Kearne Solanke, the second victim, suffered a serious chest wound. It’s believed he was attacked by one of his own friends, then thrown into the Nissan and dumped about a mile away in Titmuss Avenue, Thamesmead. Passersby found him bleeding heavily; he was pronounced dead at the scene by 6.15pm.
